You asked for it and we have made it. An industrial steam machine with unprecedented power, temperature and the true ability do clean BOTH the outside and the inside of a vehicle.

Introducing the NEW Vapor Chief 180     

This steam machine may look almost the same as our current Vapor Chief, but we have made it the most powerful steamer ever made. There is NO other vapor machine out there with this much power. This is truly a 2 in one machine! Its the most powerful exterior steamer in the world, and its the absolute BEST interior machine available. This is what we have done.

We have worked on a way to get more pressure and more temperature out of a steam machine and we found it. The NEW Vapor Chief 180 is simply.... A monster!!! We looked at every single steam machine that is currently on the market and carefully examined its features. We found many very good machines that will do the job. However, we found many of them to be very large, bulky and extremely heavy. Many of these steamers claim to be "portable", but at 300 pounds we just don't see the portability in these machines. We found some with very "good" pressure at about 120 PSI and about 330 degrees, but none were above those readings. What we did NOT find was a machine made in the USA, and a machine that was "less than" $8000 and could effectively clean both the outside and the inside of a vehicle. None of these "exterior" machines have brush attachments to effectively clean the interior

We know that the trend will be toward steam washing the exterior of a vehicle. It will be sooner than later. We know the laws are changing very quickly and detailers, especially mobile detailers, will soon be forced to clean with as little water as possible. You know the rules and the laws in your area and this should not be much of a surprise at this point. So why continue to use vast amounts of water and be forced to contain it with very expensive and time consuming catch systems? Why carry a huge water tank on your vehicle? Why make a mess on customer's property? Why not clean with steam which has virtually zero water runoff?

For many detailers, this method makes sense, but until now there has not been a powerful enough vapor steamer to effectively assist in cleaning and washing the exterior of a car. You have seen what's out there and feared that some of the other "smaller" units would not do an effective job and slow you down cleaning the exterior. We all know you cannot clean the exterior with a small steamer. The bigger units have many drawbacks as well. Here is why the NEW Vapor Chief 180 will solve all those issues. However, don't be fooled because our steam machine looks "small". It performs like a giant! This is what it has.

Here is what we have improved upon

• 15 foot super heavy duty stainless steel hose with a protective covering to handle higher pressures and temperatures and allow you to get around one side of the vehicle without constantly moving the machine
• A 10 foot hose extension is optional which is easily added to the existing hose. These hoses are bulletproof and can be dragged along the groung constantly and not wear out or break. Please specify when ordering if you would like the added hose length at a slightly added cost.
• totally adjustable pressure from 0-180 controlled by a valve so you control exactly how much pressure you want (no other machine has this kind of pressure). You may not need it all but its sure fun to have! 
• A gun that operates like a pressure washer wand. Just squeeze the trigger to release steam.
• up to 385 degrees of steam for added cleaning ability (no other machine has this temperature)
• Lightweight and portable. We are using approximately the same body as the original Vapor Chief so it can easily be moved and lifted on and off a vehicle even when at operating temperature!
• A 1.5 gallon boiler which will still clean up to 4 cars both inside and out on 1 fill up. A large boiler is essential for not only keeping the steam working for a longer period of time, but also in maintaining steam pressure and heat. Smaller boilers run out of steam too quickly.
• Continuous fill! A large 2 gallon tank that will automatically fill the boiler when needed. You will never have to re-fill the machine in the middle of a job. Continuous fill will eliminate the need to refill the machine by removing the boiler cap and waiting for it to heat up again. After the initial heat up, you can work all day long. Also there is an LED light to even alert you when the continuous fill tank is getting low. So running out of water or steam will never be an issue
• A super duty beefed up boiler to handle the added temperature and pressure. This is a double wall boiler that will never leak or not be able to handle the added pressure. Safety is always the #1 issue with a machine like this and we have made this boiler bulletproof!
• Also, for safety and reliablility, all the fittings, valves and piping have been upgraded to stainless steel (not brass) to handle the added heat and pressure. This virtually assures that there will be no leaks or breaks.
• Brush attachments as on the Vapor Chief to clean the inside as well. Many other steamers that are being used to wash the outside of vehicles do not have brush attachments to clean the inside. Simply waving steam over a carpet or door panel (as the videos on those machines show) will not clean it. You need agitation which our brushes provide. We are also the only company to provide very soft horsehair brushes for leather and sensitive trim cleaning.
• A true inside and outside machine. There will be no need for another "smaller" steamer to clean the interior. Brush attachments will fit on the gun to clean interiors.
• We have designed the carpet cleaning brush with a special valve that adds more "wet" steam to clean a dirty carpet more thoroughly. This will eliminate the need in most cases for a carpet extractor to clean a dirty carpet.
• Available in both 110 volt and 220 volt. We strongly recommend 220 volt. Click this link to see how we have solved this issue. 220 volt will heat much quicker and the machine will recover much quicker and perform better with the added voltage. Call us to see why we think the 220 volt option is a much better choice.
• The price! Yes, the price. We don't have the actual price just yet and we can't quote it here anyway, but it will be cheaper than the bigger machines that give you LESS pressure, LESS temperature, LESS interior cleaning ability, and are NOT made in the USA.
• All components meet UL standards
• 3 seperate safety measures built in to make sure the pressure is never exceeded

Once you see the video of the machine in action you will know right way that this machine is the MOST powerful machine out there and will do a fantastic job on the exterior. Keep in mind however this important fact...Steam by itself will not clean a dirty car. Some steam companies will have you believe that their steamers alone will clean a car. It just wont happen. You still need a great cleaning product (see our Optimum No Rinse) and some agitation. Combine this now, with a great steamer, and you will be able to clean a dirty car effectively and efficiently and be environmentally compliant as well.
